To load your pre-tax Transit Benefit dollars onto the Wave & Pay ANYWHERE Visa Prepaid Card, simply request a paper voucher from your employer or transit benefit company and present the voucher in person, along with your card, at the Freedom Card Service Center, located at the east side of the Broadway station.

Monday was the official launch of the new PATCO Wave & Pay ANYWHERE Visa^® Prepaid Card, the first transit-agency branded, all contactless Visa prepaid card in the world.

Commuters now can use this one card to pay for PATCO transit fares and parking, as well as ordinary retail purchases. You can use the PATCO Wave & Pay ANYWHERE Visa Prepaid Card anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. Use it for a cup of coffee or to pick up groceries.

Simply load the card with funds at one of the bright-red kiosks located at the 8th and Market Street, Broadway, Ferry Avenue, Haddonfield, Woodcrest and Lindenwold stations, online at PATCOpilot.com, through your employer’s direct deposit program or through the thousands of retailers that provide Visa ReadyLink loads.

The cards can be loaded, reloaded and managed many ways, including online at PATCOpilot.com, at the FREEDOM Card Services Center located at the Broadway station, and at the bright-red kiosks. Once the card has been registered, the deposits are FDIC insured and the card can be used for cash back on purchases and for ATM withdrawals. For riders with a transit benefits account, the card can track transit and retail purchases separately, and transit benefits can be loaded onto the card and be designated for fare purchase only.
